Abstract

Мірилом досягнень теоретичної науки в усіх країнах вважаються відкриття та інші результати, близькі до них за своїм значенням. Офіційна реєстрація винаходів в Україні розпочалася у 1957 р. Відтоді й до кінця 80-х рр. ХХ ст. в Україні було зареєстровано 33 відкриття із 360, зроблених у всьому Радянському Союзі. За незначним винятком, майже всі вони були здійснені в академічних інститутах, що свідчить про високий рівень академічної освіти в Україні. Хронологічні рамки даної розвідки (80-ті р.р. ХХ ст.) визначені не випадково, бо ґрунтовне дослідження розвитку академічної науки визначеного періоду (у 60-70- х рр. відбувався екстенсивний розвиток науки) допоможе зрозуміти стан науки України, коли вона перебувала у складі СРСР, й продемонструє, які помилки у векторі розвитку науки досі не враховані. In all countries the measure of theoretical science achievements is considered to be discoveries and other results close to them in their meaning. Official registration of inventions in Ukraine began in 1957. Since then, until the end of the 80s of the 20th century, in Ukraine were registered 33 discoveries out of 360 made throughout the Soviet Union. Almost all of them were carried out in academic institutes, with a few exceptions. It indicates the high level of academic education in Ukraine. A thorough study of the development of academic science of a certain period would help to understand the state of science in Ukraine, when it was part of the USSR, and would demonstrate what errors in the vector of science development have not been taken into account yet. The analysis of this experience can be useful in understanding the mistakes, successes and failures of the science organization and its integration with production in terms of modern market relations formation in Ukraine and in the world, which is dynamically changing, in time of the war and after the victory. During the research period, The Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (since 1994 – the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) was responsible for the implementation of the state scientific and technical policy. According to the Archives of The Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences at the end of the 80s of the 20th century more than 97,700 people, including 17,000 scientists, worked in 165 scientific institutions, research and production organizations of The Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The significant part of scientists consisted of the specialists with higher scientific qualifications – the doctors of sciences (1,911 people) and the candidates of sciences (10,399 people). In these years, large-scale theoretical and experimental researches were carried out in 200 relevant vectors and segments of modern science and technology. The obtained results in some fields of knowledge were carried out at the level of the best world samples, enriching national and world science with discoveries of primary importance.
